Calendar September 16 - November 5: Education Information for teachers, students and community available. September 16 - October 31: Educational kits on the process of glass will be available for check out at the Arts Council or from the Alamance-Burlington Schools Administrative Offices. October 1: 10 a.m. to 12 noon: Teacher Glass Blowing Workshops, limited to 10 participants, held at Resnick Thermal Lab. Free. October 2: Opening reception 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Captain White House, Graham, NC. October 3 - November 5: School and Community group tours October 3 - November 5: Local glass artist David Schaeffer: exhibition and resource display at the Graham and Burlington public libraries. October 15: Glass Paper Weight Workshop, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., held at Resnick Thermal Lab, $168.00 per person, supplies are included. If this workshop fills a second will be made available on October 29th. October 20, 21, 22: Glass Blowing Demonstrations with Jon Offutt, Captain White House, Graham, NC. 35 minute demonstrations on the hour. October 25: Lecture by Glass Artist Gary Beecham, 7 p.m..
