Exhibitions

Nine shows of local, regional and national artists' works are displayed in the Captain White House Sister Galleries each year, and six shows of local artists are presented in the Paramount Theatre Lobby and the Mebane Arts & Community Center.

Permanent Collection

The Council purchases works of art each year and adds them to their permanent collection. These works are then loaned to area governmental agencies and businesses for display in public areas.

Gift Shop

Local and regional artists' works are sold year-round in the Council's gift shop located in the Captain White House. The Council receives a 30% commission on the sale of these works.

Scholarships

The Council awards a minimum of four scholarships each year to graduating seniors who wish to pursue higher education in music, art, drama or dance.

Partnerships

The Council partners with other area organizations to produce concerts, exhibitions and other arts happenings throughout the county. "Clay Street After Work" is an example of such a partnership.

Travel

Cultural art adventure trips are designed to allow Alamance County residents exposure to art that cannot be experienced at home.
